Hello so i am currently changing the fuel pump on my 84 gmc sierra for now it has a 305 and my fuel pump is going out .. Can a cracked FP gasket be the reason why it loses pressure or ? As for the installation how can i keep the pushrop up so it wont slide down on me while i put the new pump in? Any help would be great thanks
