fuel guage doesnt work

iv got a new tank, new sending unit. iv got the pink power wire to it and the ground and my guage still reads on E. for a little bit it was at half but then went to E and stayed there..

bad guage?? or what

I would try the gauge, especially if you already have a spare or can get one easily.

Also, the pink wire could be grounded somewhere if it reads dead empty. If left unhooked, it will read full.
