Front Lift Blocks?

Can anyone recommend a 2 or 2.5 inch block kit for the FRONT of my 1/2 ton 4x4 truck?

summit racing is my go-to but i have not found anything for the front... only the rear...

thoughts?

You should never use blocks to lift the front. Use springs.

Blocks under the front is illegal. The only ones acceptable are 1" zero rate add-a-leaf blocks, which bolt to the spring pack. Even those can cause you to get rejected for an inspection. Just dont do front blocks.

yeah.... i did the research lol

guess ill just sack-up and buy the springs and stuff.
but i should be fine with 1.5" blocks in the rear.


CA does not do ANY vehicle safety inspections...
all they care about is passing this smog ********.

bald tires?
bare brakes?
deployed airbag?
dog-tracking rear axle?
GVW exceeded in a non-commercial vehicle?
CA does not care...... its scary...

nooooooooo way. never ever under any circumstances put blocks on the front axle. zero rates are doable but anything else is a no no. highdesertranger

Does anybody know why it is legal to use front blocks on heavy commercial vehicles and not pickup trucks? We have 7 brand new Peterbullts that all have them about 6" high blocks.

I dunno, but Pa. Is usually pretty stringent when it comes to vehicle inspections. Here in Az, hell, you can almost pass inspection with only three wheels and a horn.

Please do not ever use blocks on the front end... though ez rates appear to be blocks, there is a major difference between the two.

Ez rates bolt to the spring pack using the center pin, blocks do not and are only a spacer between the spring plate and the leaf pack.

yeah i did some reasearch... no front lift blocks ....
even 1 or 1.5" is a bad idea lol
oh well
