I'm switching from auto to standard in my 75 K20. I believe I've got everything except for the bracket that is riveted to the frame that the z bar attaches to. Would anyone happen to have one or know a supplier where I can purchase one? Many thanks!

There was one vendor I found when doing my swap that “sold” them. They were always out of stock. I ended up going to a junkyard with a few squares and finding a manual transmission truck. Most of the time the trans and transfer case are gone but no one ever takes the bracket since it’s riveted. Get a cordless grinder and get to grinding, the rivets aren’t very hard to grind through. You will have to grind from the inside of the frame rail at the bottoms of the two rivets. Luckily for me someone had already taken the transmission out so there was plenty of room to work. Bring a punch, hammer, and a decent prying tool to get it off once the rivets are ground.

There is always the option to make one from some thicker gauge angle iron.

Morgan.

Thanks for the replies. I got the one off Ebay. A little pricy, but worked out great!
