Hello all! Trying to track down a problem with an 87 Silverado, 350 TBI. Thought I'd ask here first to see if anyone could give me some ideas prior to taking it to a shop. Missing power on Accel, cuts out on decel.

Already replaced fuel filter, ran seafoam though a full tank and replaced the MAP today. Also have the exhaust taken apart at the Cat right now and that is not clogged. Problem seems like its running rich and then flooding out. I've included an .mp3 if you want to hear what it does.

I appreciate any help you can provide.

The only thing I can think of thats left is the drivers side fuel pump or bad TB. The passenger side tank needs to be replaced so I dont use it. Both pumps are less than a year old though. I'm not sure if the pass side pump can be used in the DS to test or not.

Have you inspected the throttle body for fuel leaks? Any check engine light?
A throttl body rebuild may be in order, ther are filters on the injectors as well, and if the regulator is leaking, the excess fuel will dump into the throttle body.

Ok, I actually have access to another throttlebody so I'll try that.

Also, no check engine light at all.
