Fall Barrette Jackson Auction

Well, I made it down to Scottsdale first day of the auction is today. I was there last night at the party ton of really cool cars so I will be posting pictures, but this is especially for Perry, Idahovette. I found him the perfect rig. I’ll be posting those pictures tonight if you want to see it. My childhood friend Victor and I drove a 1971RS Z 28 from Yakima to Scottsdale in 23 hours and a half. It’s not really a road car as it has 373 so we were wicking it up about 4000-4500 RPMs all the way did great but let me tell you couldn’t hear the stereo. Vic can’t see very well and he’s a scary driver. He almost hit three cars yesterday I had to grab the wheel once so I did most of the driving we didn’t sleep for 36 hours and didn’t eat for 24 so I guess I’m losing weight and that’s not a bad thing.

Barrett Jackson Auctions are class acts, if you have never been to one, put it on your bucket list. Imagine Barnum and Bailey met a auction house.

I went a couple years back, they had Dodge thrill rides. That year they had a drag strip set up with 2 brand new Hellcat Challengers with professional drivers. They strapped you in and raced the car next to you all day and night, as fast as they could move the people in and out of the cars.
