Needing ideas for exhaust!!! Anyone have any pictures??
85 K10 6” lift, 35” tires with a 350 sbc, 12-238-2 Comp Cam with 69830 Hedman Hedders 2.5” exit.

First off!!
Duals out the back? Or exit to sides rear of tires?? Pics anyone??

2.5” or 3”? Overkill I think to go 3” but is the sound better?

Make my exhaust guy run an H pipe?

mufflers? Flow master 40?

New to this, would love pictures and ideas. Thanks!

Bbc, headers , 3" pipes run over axle , exits behind rear wheels. Chambered Thrush mufflers and electric cutouts. Great mellow deep sound, but sounds ANGRY with cutouts opened. My opinion is 2.5 pipes sound better.

The price from 2.5 to 3" really makes jump.

I would run 2-1/2 out over the axle and drop out on the side.
Like I have it on my old Nova seen below.
That is what I plan on doing to my truck when the time comes, well except I will have 3 inch as it is a big block.

The Nova was a mild cam that had a bit of lope to it and it sounded awesome through the 40 series Flowmasters that were under it at the time.

For mufflers, that is a personal choice really.
Do you like it to growl all the time?
I do, so when I redo mine as I have to use cats, I will be putting these Jones Flowpack JFP300 mufflers under it.
They are essentially a single chamber muffler.

Those with high flow cats should sound pretty good.

As it is now, it has cats and 40 series 2 chamber Flowmasters under it and they are pretty docile through the stock exhaust manifolds.
