I'm trying to make sure I have everything I need to rewire this truck (73 chevy C10)...
Watching you tube videos, I know how to replace the turn signal harness/switch assy, and the ignition switch assy, but having trouble figuring out how the emergency flasher is wired...
I notice that on other year-series trucks, it is on the horn/turn signal harness.. But looking at every picture I can find, I do not see how the emergency flasher switch is connected to everything..
Is it part of the turn signal harness, and thus will be replaced by default when I replace the turn signal/horn harness, or is it it's own separate deal?
If it's a separate deal, how is it accessed, removed and replaced, and where do I get the switch?
Slowly getting this all figured out...
Also, where do I post questions about alarm systems, theft deterrence, and the like? (I didn't see a separate forum for it)
Thanks,
Mark
