Following my other power tool stuff, I thought I’d post this. My wife bought this for me right after we got married, probably around the end of 2012 or so. It was the only drill I had up until I got my dewalt stuff for Christmas in 2020 or so. This drill hasn’t been used since then, and a couple years ago it got put out in the shop that is not climate controlled. I found it yesterday and out of curiosity, pulled the trigger. The battery still had juice!! I brought it in today and wiped it down, and charged the battery. It’s still rolling and may just get put back to use. It’s only 12v, but it reminds me of a simpler time when it was just my wife and me, and we didn’t have much at all. But she bought it for me because she cared. Silly to get sentimental over a drill I know, but sometimes you can’t help it. We all get caught up in having the biggest, best of everything, and we forget about the simpler things and times.
