I can't get either drain or fill plug to budge on my NP208. I have really leaned on them both and no luck, like 60 - 70lbs or more... nothing. Any suggestions?

Fairly common for them to be tight, especially if they haven't been removed in a while. A good socket, a breaker bar, and a good amount of grunt should do it. Once broken free, they should easily turn.

Cool. Thanks. I'll pick up a socket to fit and give it a try. I was worried about breaking it off. One thing I don't need right now.

From what I remember, it's a large and solid plug.

Heat can help as well to help loosen up any crud or gunk.

put a wrench on it then smack the end of the wrench with a hammer, will come right off.

With anything rusty, or that your scared your gonna snap it, dont just push or pull on it, it has to be sudden movement. Like, if you can get at it right, try giving the breaker bar a good kick, or hitting it hard with a hammer, becuase if you think about it, when you snap a bolt it slowly turns and snaps. If you apply a lot of force really quick for a short second, itll be able to turn it but not shear the bolt into 2 peices. Its still possible, just not as likely

Thanks for all the input. I must have put 150 lbs of torque on that thing and it did not budge. Grabbed a propane torch and warmed it up. A little pressure and it came loose. Got the fluids changed and back on the road. Thanks again!
