Door boot for wires

Any body have a good way of checking the wires inside the boot without taking the door off? Door lock won’t work and I think I’ve narrowed it down to the wires in the boot

Multimeter. Continuity check.

Just unbolt the boot from the door/body and check them.
At least that's how mine is.

The doors I robbed from an 89 burb for my truck had the boots riveted on both sides

Ok dug into the door.
Anyone know how to undue this plug without breaking it?

Update got it all apart and a door lock wire was broken somewhere in the jam. Rewired and all works now
