I know you don’t like body lifts, I’m not a fan either but I needed it to achieve my badass exhaust lol
I've already explained to you my friend, you get a free pass on the stilts.
But for the rest of the "jack 'em up" crowd I will continue to try and set them straight.

Yeah especially without body lift.
... if the owner wants that.
Also pretty much have to go cross over steering unless it's a mall cruiser.
Thanks for the info, didn't know that to be honest

Like I said, not looking for a big lift, just a "like factory" 4x4

You're not the only one so don't feel bad.
The Blazer in your avatar would be a good candidate for 51s.

Even on a stock height 4x, cross over steering is an obvious improvement.

Way too easy to just buy a 4x burb
Why go to all that work ?

And it’s gonna get maybe 9 mpg anyway with stock lift and tires

My blazer I have other plans for lol

Oh I know, crossover is better no matter what size lift you have, I just don't really take it into consideration unless it's in terms of a big lift with big tires haha

Not much of a just buy it kinda guy really, no offense intended, the thought was nice, but I'm not that dead set on it, I'll have another 4x4 anyways when I build this k5, not to mention, I still have my. Little 4x4 s10 blazer as a DD

What about sectioning in the front portion of something like a blazer frame, that someone would be looking to get rid of? cut it behind the shackles and weld it onto the suburban frame? score the proper cross member and the suspension geometry in one shot?
