Hey. I finally got around to getting rid of my dual tank set-up on my '86 Silverado. I am not 100% finished yet but here are a couple of pictures so far. BTW, I have two free gas tanks if someone wants them.

The most terrifying part was drilling that big hole in my bed! I still need to trim the rubber fill tube to fit. I am also installing new braided fuel and return lines up front to a new Brawler 750 vacuum secondary carburetor. We tore out all of the old fuel system except for my new (a year ago) mechanical fuel pump. Goodbye to the gummed up fuel selector device. BTW, I think I have a new on in a box if someone wants it.

I have dual tanks but the bed doesn’t have dual fuel doors. I may do the same. How big is the new tank?

Looks good! I've thought about a Boyd tank but man they're proud of them. My truck's a single tank and I've thought hard about just adding a second tank with a balance tube for a fill and plumbing in a transfer pump. My buddy's '86 is this way and it works great.

Im going to do the burb tank install eventually.

Thats wayy down the list though. My duel tanks were pared down to a single tank many moons ago.

I went with Boyd as they were the only ones that would do a centerfill. Everyone else was offset.
