56 hrs a week sounds nice about now honestly. This week will end up a little low cuz the holiday, will be 75-80. Last week was 85. Week before was 95. I'm getting tired, lol.

So no one else has buckets in their trucks!? Lol

I used buckets in my '73 from a 2000 or so Pontiac Bonneville. My truck originally had buckets and it did take a little welding with some angle iron but has served well for years. If you ever find stock bucket brackets in the boneyard grab them, you never know. They are rare.

Lol, there's still times I think to myself that this is a job for even younger men. But the hours pay bills and buy car and truck parts. That's really all that matters.

I respectfully disagree. There is much more to life. I am NOT here to spend the time that I have CHOSEN to be here as an indentured servant.
All you do is work just so you can go on working?
Better to live a short life that is full of pleasureable experience rather than a long life full of doing things you don't want to do - only so you can keep doing them. That my friend, is no life worth living.

I'm mainly only venting on you dudes. Please don't think I WANT to work 56 hours a week. I have no love for money, it is but a tool. I much prefer NOT working and when I have it good, I appreciate it wholly in that time. This too shall pass.

It's the most wonderful time of the year, didn't you hear?

I've been doing 2 pm to midnight for about 5 years now, like it better than the 4 am to 2 pm that I did before that.

It did, by the time I got home all I wanted to do was relax and have a beer. Working afternoons, I am able to get a few hours of work done on my projects in the morning before leaving for work.
