Dipstick

When I bought my 86 K20 with a 350, it had a factory dipstick tube, but a chrome 19" dipstick that was too short. 5 quarts only showed 1/2" from the tip (1 1/2" below the Full line) with a stock pan.
I'd been looking for a longer one for a while, but never found one. But, when checking the oil today, the handle broke off.

The engine isn't original, and has the dipstick on the driver's side. Even when I look up 70s dipsticks they are also 19", but I need a 21" one, I think.

Any ideas, part sources, or 21" dipsticks laying around?

The tube or dipstick is 21?
and is your pan expanded?

i didnt read correctly at first.

so maybe these 19 inch dipsticks on other side have the hash marks in a different spot? or it sits further?

With a 19", 5 quarts only covers the bottom 1/2" of the dipstick, with a stock tube and pan.

If you cant find anything longer, cut the tube down another 1.5" to make your new dipstick work.
