If you read my thread I created a few weeks back I talk about my process.
http://www.gmsquarebody.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5744

Its basically the same, except I didn't use spray foam I used foam padding and used contact cement instead of stitching. There are some more pics in the thread.

Edit: I am glad to see someone stitch it, I wasn't sure how the shape would turn out so I didn't stitch mine, but I am really glad to see that it worked for you.

Who woulda thought that I would actually use what I learned in home-ec? Haha if I would've taken a little more time it would've turned out better

I just covered mine in camo from wal mart and used some loctite spray adhesive..
I had the seams showing about the middle from laying the camo carpet but i just cut up some chevy signs in camo and covered the seems you cant even tell it came out real nice. I kick myself in the ass for not doing a write up!

That camo dash is cool! :waytogo: I might have to try that on my K10 since it has a tan interior.

BTW, Cool Thread, having you other 2 add photos and input of yours too. That's what we like. Not to hijack a thread per say, but so we have different ideas in the same thread, and other can add pics of what they came up with too and it turns into a great thread.

This is also what the Rep system is about , and what the thread rating is about. So everyone give these 3 guys Rep Credit on their Photo Posts. :waytogo:

I gave all three rep. Def inspired me to tackle this project... just have to figure out how to repair my vent holes at the same time while making them look stock. hmmm... I think a pick a part is in my future.

One thing I feel I should mention to you guys if you haven't really taken your dashes apart before, the pegs that hold the vent cover on are pretty brittle and the nuts that are holding might not come off real easily because none of it is threaded. I broke 2 of the 7 or 8 while taking it apart and putting it back together
