Cylinders 7 & 8

Just recently I pulled the stock manifolds off of my 350 to replace them with headers, I notice the rear ports on both sides I believe cylinders 7&8 are way worse than all the other ports. Dark black, maybe carbon build up. Is this normal or should I be alarmed? Thanks.

Look like leaking gaskets... I wouldn't be too worried.

what do the spark plugs look like? I would use that for my guide 1st. if the plugs look fine your good to go. highdesertranger

The spark plugs are new I made the mistake of not paying any attention to the condition of the old ones. Now i have the motor out and decided to paint it and replace a few things when i pulled the manifolds i just noticed it.
