This old warhorse really impressed me. I spoke to the owner(s) and they assured me that the old 6.2 was still in there. There was a diesel tank in the bed and the truck obviously sees regular farm use. I LOVE seeing these old trucks still working, still earning their keep. @SirRobyn0 I thought you might appreciate this old monster. I took a couple more pics of some other 3/4 tons later just for you, I will mention you when I get them posted.

This super clean '85 only paint scheme really impressed me as well. That is dark blue, not black. The quality of the tan sections had my wife telling me that when we repaint the '87 we WILL go back with the original tan color.

I took this pic because Mrs. Redfish liked the car. I made an ill advised comment about the similarity of their wide and heavy rear views...

Your wife is obviously a keeper if she sees nuances in paint colors. I'm not sure of your status after the wide and heavy views crack. Sucks to be you the hour after (or maybe the whole day?)!

When I think of a "keeper" I naturally think of a fish that is big enough to keep. BigUn (Mrs. Redfish) is definitely a "keeper" if we use size standards!

No, she likes to talk so much that she cannot stay quiet even when she is mad at me. I always get jealous when I hear guys talk about "getting the silent treatment".

That 6.2 K20 is killer and that tan/blue '85 is awesome too. That's the paint scheme I was hoping to find when I started shopping, there was a heavily patina'd and dropped version of that truck at the Turkey Run 3 years ago I fell in love with

This excellent truck really caught my attention. Brother-in-law and I talked to this guy and his brother who had almost the same truck for about 30 minutes.

This really well done white blazer had some very special leaf springs. The rear leaf, yes singular, leaf was composite. I asked for and received permission to crawl under the truck to take a couple pics.

Pascagoula Beach Park

While we were there someone must have ordered an entire case of Freedom. This Arleigh Burke class destroyer came cruising into the nearby Ingalls Ship Yard and completely diverted my attention. These things move pretty quickly, supposedly over 35mph.

Yes sir it does. Thank you for saying that. It takes a lot of time and effort to actually get the pics in the first place. I used to do this for my Ride Reports on my motorcycle forums but those subforums got a lot more attention than this Events thread. Not much traffic in this area.

I had actually quit posting the pics but I think I am going to finish it out now that you revived it. I did take those pics just for this purpose.
