Is there a difference in the crossmembers for a NP208 and a NP241c? im switching my 208 out with a 241. Just crossed my mind if this was gonna be an issue. My truck is a 1985 K10.

I believe it is the transmission which determines the cross member. My th400/208 uses a completely different cross member than my 700r4/241. Willing to bet the 700r4/208 would be the same as my 700r4/241.

Oh so your just swapping transfer cases? If the 241 is a direct swap for your 208 it does not involve the cross member. It just bolts to the back of the adapter. The adapter is what bolts to the cross member.

Correct. Just wasn't sure if the forward driveshaft drop would differ the crossmembers any.

Ya nope. The 241 and 208 are pretty much identical
