I drained the coolant in my 350 when I pulled it out a while ago and was wondering what everyone preferred for antifreeze/coolant. I think most GM use Dex-cool from what I have read. Does it matter? If it does, what do you prefer?. But I was looking for opinions from everyone because I have little experience on the subject.

I was being cheap and I looked at the walmart brand, "Super Tech" Antifreeze/coolant, it claims to be for all make and models and to mix with any other coolant. Anybody tried it?

I never had any problems with the Super Tech line of fluids.

I run Super Tech oil in my outboard motor fuel supply and gear case. IMO it's good quality for the money.

Cheaper to buy the un-mixed jugs, but then mix it with ~distilled~ water, not tap water.

Minerals and crap in the tap water are not good for the system.
