Converting burb rear ac housing

I'm going with the 12v idea and puting one of those cigarette lighter sockets back there and wire it to the switch for the rear ac (since I don't have the motor nor want it) with an inline fuse

seems safer Easier and cheaper plus I'm better with electrical than plumbing
