Can anyone point me to a walkthrough to remove all the wiring in the cab? I’ve searched and can’t find anything. Wiring schematics do nothing for me.

I'm not sure of any. When I swapped mine out, I just patiently unplugged and labeled each connection, then used it as a reference when I put the junk yard replacement in. It was pretty easy to do. Lots of photos for reference help. A wiring diagram won't show you the physical placement of the wires, just where they link to.

the GM wiring manuals in the tech section show the placement of connectors, harness runs, etc.

This all looks fine on paper, but my brain doesn’t interpret wiring diagrams. Also, being colorblind doesn’t help.

I guess this is what I’ll have to do to ensure I do it properly. I had to do this on an old Honda I owned too.
