I don't normally endorse products but for $12 I got this clay mit and I have to say it works great. I used it on the hood and on the windshield and it's like I have a new windshield. It's easier to use than a clay bar and you can use it for washing at the same time. If you drop it, just rinse off not like a bar you have to throw away.

I am testing this mitt. Got back windshield on a table and ran tape line in the middle.
Anxious to see results

Is that all you do with it is wipe??

I made a some dish soap and water and then just running the mitt over the glass.
No real pressure.
Flipped the glass 2x just cleaning lightly.
Some nicks and scrapes in 25 year old glass but looking good not sure if a pic will show any thing

Just curious cus ive heard about polishing the glass but never tried

I figured it was worth a shot. Old beat up glass can only improve (I hope)

Dunno if it is visible. 1 end untouched. The other end I washed then used the mitt 3x.
