Have owned a few Chevys in my Past a 1990 k1500 in Red which was a Pile (218k on a 4wd though) and my current trucks. Most of my vehicles have been Chevy's and the few that weren't seemed to always be breaking down with the exception of a Neon

My real Pride and Joy 1997 k2500 that is currently tore down for a SFA swap with Coilovers. Started this a few years ago and was going to just be a SFA swap with an ORU kit but was talking with a friend who owns a 4x4 shop i decided to go Coils. The ORU SFA swap I could do myself but the Coils and 4 link I could not. Needless to say he got busy building a diesel jeep for MBRP and some other projects and my truck has sat on the back burner :bawl:

And My 84 Square body that I just acquired. Has a 350/th400/NP205 twin stick/44 Front/14bff rear. Needs some TLC. Need leaf bushings/shackles replaced, brakes fixed (convert to hydroboost as current booster is shot), carb tuning which im a noob at, and some wiring redone for the gauges. Has a 3 inch body lift which i wasn't aware of until i got home. It may be removed in favor of a 4 or six inch suspensionlift, or left in with a 4 in lift. Not sure. Hated the body lift on my 97 but on this 84 its hardly noticable

38.5x16 baja claws on a 16.5x12 inch rim. Don't think you can get the claws in that size anymore

Looks like those tires have a better rating than bfg all terrain do. I'll look into getting some.

They are incredibly loud on the highway. To the point that the radio can't get loud enough. That's what I had on mine before I bought the Micky ATZ's the other day. I never got in any sticky situations with them, but like with all directionals, if you get stuck going forward your really stuck and not going anywhere.

In my case they are loud from about 40-55, faster than that they even out. Ive never had any issue holding a conversation in my truck or hearing the radio but then again its a newer truck then a square with a quieter interior.

Yea it's more insulated than the squares so not as loud. Mine were also worn out so that probably didn't help. They have an aggressive look you can't get from any other tire. I just couldn't deal with the noise.
