Carpet for k5 tailgate?

My old k5 had carpet on the tailgate, and was nice and kept tailgate from getting scratched every time i put something on it. Anybody make this anymore?

I'm pretty certain moms '83 K5 had a carpeted tailgate, I assumed it was factory.

Its possible I'm remembering wrong and thinking of the '92 2 door Blazer (before they were Tahoe's)

The later K5's didn't get a carpet cover like Burbs did. It's weird, not even all of the later Silverado trimmed Burbs did either. Just most.

Unfortunately i dont, back then i ripped out all of the carpet and herculined it. It was a wheeling rig and i was young. Now Ive got a k5 that i dont plan to beat on, and I just remember having the carpet on there and it was nice to have. Very possible it was a one-off thing done at an upholster shop.

Are you muddybuddy on CK5 as well? If so, I'm pretty sure I remember your old K5.

Yessir, on ck5, recently joined here (long overdue). Miss my old k5 for sure.
