So.. When i picked up my truck it had no cargo lamp on the back of the cab yet the holes are there for it. I found a housing and gasket at the wrecker but it was inside the cab and there was no bolts or mounting system for the fixture. Does anyone have a picture of what the fixture should look like? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the pictures. That first one is what GM gave me yet no discription of what the nuts are or how to get in there. I cant reach the inside of the cab to hold a nut while the base of the lamp is fastened on. Do you know if its a nut zert or something along those lines? I'm heading back to the wreckers on thursday.. I hope i can find another truck there with all the parts needed for this lamp. Gm charged me 24.95 for a new lens.. They say everything else is no longer available for that lamp or i would have just bought it.

I believe that the "nuts" they refer to, are like rubber plugs with threaded brass inserts. They look kind of like tire stems. Classic Parts has them for $.99 per piece. Here is a picture:

You press-fit the skinny end into the hole and the resiliency of the rubber holds them tight in the hole.

I have a complete spare somewhere on the other side of the cellar. Next time I go to get a beer from the refrigerator I'll look for it. If I find it, I'll take a picture for you.
