We found a bunch of real heavy duty ones at the local Habitat for Humanity aka the ReStore. They also have the light duty assemble-it-yourself units.

They were reasonable, the light-duty units were under $10 for about a 5-6' tall shelf, and the heavy duty ones were around $30. Mind you they may have needed paint or already had label stickers on them, etc but for what I wanted them for they were fine.

Check them out. I've randomly had luck finding stuff like that in there for the low.
