Brush Guard / Push Bar

This request has been made several times over the past 10 years, but none of the suggested sites remain active or carry the product. I am searching for a brush guard or push bar for my 1984 K10. The tubular type that bolts directly into the bumper. Apparently LMC and JC Whitney used to carry these, but no longer. I've exhausted the used parts sites like Ebay and Craigslist. My local junkyards do not have any either. Any suggestions on where to find are appreciated.

The best advice I can give you is keep on the lookout at junkyards and on your local websites for buying and selling stuff, I found one for my suburban off of bisman which is my local website for that stuff. I looked for a while too and I scored! I got a free rear bumper and that push bar for 15 dollars, and it was pretty close to me even.

I haven't seen one since then though, I know I saw a push bar in one of the junkyards I know of but the chrome was rusted pretty bad and I know they would have wanted around 175 for it, that was a year ago I doubt its still there

Ive been looking for one of these also, have finally decided to just design and cut my own side panels and weld the round bars/pipes in myself.

I got lucky.. it was already on the suburban when I bought it. It looked pretty rough, almost all the paint had been replaced by rust.. thankfully it cleaned up nice with a wire wheel and some paint.

Thanks for all the responses. I went onto craigslist and bought one off a truck that was for sale. The guy sold me the push bar.

that's what ive decided to do also, I love the look but the original ones are hard to find anymore and cost a pretty penny!
