Break caliper or wheel bearing?!

So last week driving my 90 Suburban I had a wicked pull on the wheel got to where I was going and could hear and smell hot breaks, figured it was bad caliper. Tore caliper off put new one on drove it little bit still a tiny bit of drag but not bad then this morning on my way home awful pulling and when unpacked in the drive way could see and smell just break smoke,

My question is could this actually be a wheel bearing issue and not a caliper issue?
When I took the first caliper off I didn’t have any real hang up on the breaks like I thought there would be but I just attributed it to sitting for a couple days

Check the the rubber soft hose to the caliper. They swell internally and become more or less a check valve and then hold pressure on the caliper.

Easy test is crack the bleeder and if it shoots fluid out with pressure, that suggests there is a blockage allowing pressure to be held.
