The noise is bad, It seems to get worse after I drive it a little a while. now its so bad I thought I lost a wheel bearing. It makes a constant chirping metallic sound like the rotor is warped. As soon as I push the brake a little bit the noise stops.

I pulled off the wheel and noticed the pads are worn out down to at least 60% in under 2k miles. They seem to be worn straight. At low speeds it sounds like a clicking sound?

Is it possible for my rotor to still be warped even after I had it turned?

So who thinks its:

A: Bad hose acting like a check valve.

B: Bad caliper

C:Warped rotor

D: Brake pads.

I've never had a rotor warped so far out as to cause a brake squeal that didn't also give you feedback through the pedal when you pressed on it. Did you pull off both fronts to check to see what the pad wear looked like on the other side?

Good point, there is no feedback from the petal. I did not check the other side but all seems fine on that side. I will pull the other wheel in the morning.

Go somewhere with no traffic and do a 60 mph to zero stopping test. If there is any glaze on the pads (happens alot on semi-metallic pads) it will cut the glaze off and they wont be as noisy. Happens alot on my wife's ride, she's really easy on the brakes. If it doesn't help, they must be worn down to the squeakers. That's not good mileage out of a set of brakes, if they are organic I would say ok. If they're lifetime warranty it sounds like they wont last a lifetime, but rather you'll be replacing them for a lifetime. If it was the brake line, after driving it about 10-15 minutes and you park it, the wheel with the bad brake line would be substantially hotter than the other side.

I think once again going cheap bit me in the ass, I got a set of pads that were discontinued and like 10 bucks from auto zone.

The Mustang has been doing the same ********, brakes seem fine they just make irritating sounds at slow speed. I will definitely try your trick on the Mustang today.

My wife's Burb was doing the same thing so a couple of weeks ago I take a look at it and the rear brake pads were down almost completely down. Once they were replaced the noise went away. :)

 I find the squeaker to be quite handy so that you know when the pad is actually getting low rather than ruining your rotor by going clear down to metal on metal :D

Thats awesome. Gave me a good laugh, also reminded me of a brake job my parents niebor did about 10 years ago. He thought he only needed one pad per side on his 98 ford f150. He brought it to my dad because of a horrible sound and discovered the pistons shot out of the caliper into the rotor on both sides. Ruined everything.

I Replaced my caliper and got better quality brake pads, everything seems fine now!

Its my own damn fault this time. I tried to save ten bucks on my brake job and instead ended up spending 20 more. Im okay with that because I got a brand new caliper to replace my already new caliper haha.

It looks like there is a reason they quit selling the crappy brake pads, they are a diffrent design from the new ones.

Next time save $10 on a brake job for a vehicle you're getting ready to sell  Like my Tacoma when I got it, with the organic pads that turned my wheels black every time I drove it just a few miles.

I love my Toyota, I've always been a long-time Toyota truck fan. It is my daily driver, strictly street truck, even though it has the e-locker w/gray wire mod and 4x4. It has all the goodies I just couldnt have on "the big truck" without spending as much as I have invested in the Taco getting it done. Auto w/overdrive, pw, pdl, tilt, cruise, a/c, hard tonneau, alarm/remote start w/power tailgate lock and everything tied into the alarm, extended cab, etc. It hasnt let me down hauling loads either, so I cant sell it short. My GMSB is so lifted and has such big tires now it isnt cut out to haul anything but a half load of firewood.

My baby...
