im putting a 489 into an 86 c10. Anyone know what size booster I’ll need?

Thanks. The 489 has tall valve covers, I bought the truck pretty much stripped down. I’m guessing a stock booster isn’t going to fit with engine in.

I've got a 91 Blazer with a 454, tall valve covers and Off Road Design poly motor mounts, no issues with the original booster.

I appreciate the help kim and nvrenuf. Are you able to get the valve cover off on the drivers side? Reason I ask is that this will be more of a strip/strip project. High compression with a solid cam. I'll be making adjustments quite often.

Yeah - unbolt it, move it towards the carb then up/off. Mine clears roller rockers and poly locks.
