Non power brake master cylinder is smaller. Well, not smaller, just doesn't have the booster. Not sure if you can run disc brakes without a booster though.

What's the purpose of the truck? Are the power brakes important? I'd consider brake booster delete if the headers thru the hood are that important.

With headers thru the hood, I'll make an ass out of us and suggest the truck is for off-road use only. You don't need power brakes for off-road use IMO.

I suggest that cuz even the hydroboost unit is quite pricey plus a power steering tank update for the 3rd line.

you don't have to change the ps tank if you put a hydroboost on. you can "t" the return line. although the tanks are not hard to find. highdesertranger

Its a direct install in place of vacuum booster. Just be safe and grab everything from donor truck. master, lines and power steering pump, and brackets. Im not sure but I do believe they use different pumps from hydro to non hydro. Both can be interchanged in the reservoir housing. Its always nice to have the proper stuff for the application being used. like a reservoir with 2 return lines. Just looks right.
