MY 86 K10 HAS AN ISSUE WHEN I TURN ON THE A/C. EVERYTING WORKS FINE, BUT I'LL BE DRIVING ALONG, I'LL HIT A GOOD SIZED POT HOLE OR RAILROAD TRACKS, AND I GET THIS GRINDING NOISE. I TURN OFF THE A/C AND BACK ON AND IT GOES AWAY, UNTIL THE NEXT BUMP IN THE ROAD. ANYBODY KNOW WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS:help:?

Sounds like debris in the housing hitting the fan or the fan motor is going bad dude. Pull the blower motor out and take a peek in there. Only a few screws.

maybe the fan is hitting against the housing when you hit a bump..
could be lose, as pervious posted pointed out only a few screws hold it together..
Or your blower motor is just tired and it's time for a new one.
