Black Body Trim Molding

Does anyone happen to know anything about this trim? Im trying to find the bed corner pieces that go with the trim.

That was the trim used on Scottsdale's. The bed corner mouldings will be hard to find because they were far less common. The chrome Silverado trim is the same, you would just need to apply some type of black textured vinyl to the center.

My 87 suburban Silverado has that trim. I have yet to see another truck with it.

I’ve seen one truck in town that has it. it is a 81 (I think) high Sierra 1500 or whatever. I noticed it was also on limited edition trucks like a 84 Sno Chaser which I guess also happened to be a Scottsdale.

FWIW, after my truck was repainted the body shop just bent the moldings around the corners of the bed. It worked out fine, and is actually a little bit cleaner look than the corner pieces.

That being said when I finally get around to redoing the truck again I will probably put the corner pieces back. The only reason they weren't replaced by the body shop was because one had been damaged and it was just easier (and cheaper, for them) to bend the moldings and make both sides match.

Someone switched it.

RPO B85 (the bright trim) is included with YE9 Silverado trim level.

B84 (the black trim) is included with Z62 Scottsdale, but you can opt up to the bright (which is what I did).
