While I’ve had down time from working on my truck Ive been looking for classic removable center consoles that have drink holders and won’t interrupt my shifting (hurst Indy 3 speed)

Anyone have some Insight?

I’m about to say Effff it and go with some classic window cup holders lol

I’m planning a sleek console for the sm465 floor shift using the Twistlock beverage locking system,

I had one of these in my 87. Worked great and the storage cubby was real handy. It was secured with a belt.

Expensive but I'm glad I bought it. We're all spoiled by modern vehicles with cupholders and armrests...now my K10 is a little more comfortable to drive.
FYI I'm short so my bench seat is adjusted fairly far forward. I just slide the console slightly to the right when I shift into reverse (SM465). If you're taller then it likely won't be an issue.
It also needs to be moved when you want to flip the seat back forward to access stuff stored behind the seat.

'Nother vote for that classic console^ I had that one plus another on the floor for a long time. Snowden Seats made the one on the floor, it just wedges between the floor and the seat, not sure if it would be in the way of your shifter though

Had the bench seat console for years. And a transmission hump tray, cupholders in both. Now have the cupholders that replace the ashtray. In dash old school ignition switch, Ford starter relay on the inner fender. Following the instructions from a circa 2010 EZ-wiring installation booklet. Plan to switch to a keyless, no tilt manual transmission column, high beam stomp switch, Lokar swan neck floor shifter. Literally cut my teeth on a 49 Dodge truck, 60 Dodge truck and 73 F100…

Go for the classic easy style. I inherited this with my truck. Not sure if it was from the dealership or for sale afterwards, but I have seen them in quite a few 80's squares.
It is convenient, easy to move, and weighs enough to not go anywhere unless you move it. Getting stuff from behind the seat is no problem. Moving it to the bed to let a 3rd person in the cab is no problem.

I got the short version for my truck. Don't have to move the console over to get the 465 into reverse. The longer one wouldn't work without moving it, even with the seat all the way back.

Had one of those in my 77. I wish I would've kept it, the coin holders are handy.

Ha, yeah! Mine is loaded and definitely comes in handy when I forget to switch over my E-Z pass and end up passing a toll booth.

My old 69 was a 3 speed with overdrive. I'd installed a Hurst shifter. Though it was at a comfortable height and had a good throw pattern, it still required major hands on attention.

That old step side was my daily driver, and I had two fellow workers ride with me to and from work every day.

Though I had installed captains seats, I built a center seat for storage, and a third rider. The gal sat on it (the two inner arms of the seats made it cozy and comfortable).

In the end, I became intimately familiar with her knees, traveling to and from work together. In fact, I think we would have been considered married in some cultures. To be fair, I tried to keep it to just a dating mode by holding my arm at a abnormal angle going into first and third, but. . . .

If yours was a stick, the console looks like it would become a nuisance. Shifter height could help, and being an automatic would be game changing.
