So i have a 75 that originally had a sliding bench seat which i took out and threw in some buckets out of a jimmy and had a custom metal console built. The setup is pretty sweet, but i want to go back to the classic bench seat look. However, when i put the buckets in i had the mounting hardware from the bench seat chopped up a bit and used it in the buckets. Where can i find the correct hardware to mount the bench back in with the slider. Thanks

Local junkyard is your best bet. Just get the sliders from a '73-'80 truck.

Are they just bolted on there? How difficult would it be to fabricate something similar?

Hey so I went to the junk yard and found sliders. Piece of cake! However now I can't get the slider to go all the way back. Also the wire that travels from the driver side to the passenger side is loose and doesn't pull the passenger latch. any easy fixes to these two problems?

As for not sliding all the way back, just inspect it and see what is hanging up. Might need lubed or might have something crammed in there.

You can shorten that pull cable too. Just undo the loop at the end, relocate where the cable folds back on itself, then reassemble.

Seems like the bottom of the seat hits before it can slide all the way back. Also there is a lot of play in the sliders so if you jiggle the seat there's quite a bit of play. Anyway to tighten it up? I saw in lmc truck there's a support spring that mine doesn't have

Beats me, I've never had sliders with slop worn into them.

The "support spring" is often broken and gone. All it does is assist sliding the seat forward when you want to adjust it.
