Whats the axle nut socket size for 97K1500 5.7L for removing the rotors? Is it a socket or slotted socket?

I think my 2001 front axle nut was a 33 or 35 mm if that helps in any remote way. I went to oriellys and bought a few different sizes, then took them all back once I did what I had to do

on a 97 half ton four wheel drive you do not have to mess with the axle nut, just remove the caliper, caliper mounting bracket and the rotor will come off
