Are K10/K1500 Pick Up Frames the same as K20/K2500 Frames???

I read that a few months ago somewhere else but couldn't remember where. I've been looking for that info since this thread began and glad I finally found it.

Yeah, its great info. I think we have discussed this topic enough now, I need to tranfer this portion of the convo to another thread on its own from the VSS topic.

After looking closer at that info, there is a couple other dimensions that are differant too other than just the thickness of the rails. Looks the rail edge is a little wider too on the 3/4 ton. So again, unless picks up are differant than Burbs, there is a differance. But still, I won't hesitate to convert my K10 to K20 axles and springs. Lighter weight and more flex would be the advantages, and of course less strength would be the disadvantage. For the purpose I intend to use the truck for, my advantages would outweigh the disadvantage.
