I posted this in electrical but it probably belongs here:
On this 89 v1500, the rear driver and passenger electric door locks and rear barn door electric lock was weak, sometimes locking, and mostly not. I replaced the barn door lock cylinder to no avail. That may need more 12v troubleshooting because it does nothing. But the driver rear, it would successfully lock and unlock most times. I replaced that cylinder and it never electrically locked again. Replaced that new cylinder w another new cylinder w same disappointing result. The plunger works well when not attached to linkage. Linkage isnt binding. Why so weak?
