Hi,

how can I crank my engine ('79 350 H.E.I.) without allowing it to start? Is there a fuse or a cable to disengage the ignition when cranking the engine with the starter?

Its the clip that plugs in the dist cap, on the side generally drivers side, plugs in from the bottom.

Just unplug the plugs going to the nose of the distributor cap.
