^^^^^^ Yep, that's what they do. Not perimeter welded, so all kinds of stuff gets in behind and rusts out

Yea, they always rust out. I figured it came off since there are bolts on the outside but found out at the junk yard they don’t come off. I wasn’t sure why and when a part is giving me trouble I just leave it alone and move on at the yard, not worth busting a knuckle or tool. I guess I will be welding patches on both sides.
