Got a new acc carpet for truck. At the rear area near the door the carpet basically folders over and pops out an inch - am I supposed to cut this off or make relief cuts? No way to get sill plates on with this chunk of carpet sticking out.
I'm not a car guy by trade so for me the carpet had been a huge disappointment so far. I've already torn it in a few areas because the holes outlined in the bottom do not line up at all - like 3 or 4 inches off in most cases. I definitely wouldn't call it "fitted" unless you expect 5x5 rims to come with 4 holes (ya ok I'm frustrated - sorry)
At this point just trying to install a wrecked carpet without wrecking it too much more. I have bucket seats so the middle is going to be a total loss - had it out flat in my driveway for half a day in 35 Celsius weather and it won't lay flat at all - looks like there's a body underneath it
