Figured I'd post this here in case others have the same issue I just had. My replacement GM engine (HT383) has some paperwork that shows it uses a AC Delco PF25 oil filter. Apparently they do not update paperwork ever as this filter has been discontinued for quite some time. In fact is says the premium oil filter is a UPF25 (I used to buy those ultra ones, but they are no more either).
The PF25 is now the PF454 This is a small stubbly little filter. It is used on my 8.1L in my Silverado.
Now the PF35 used to be the long version of the PF25. I found the new part number for the PF35 is now PF1218.
Many probably already know this.... I however wanted to run a Mobile 1 filter. Had issues cross referencing them, but finally got it figured out.
PF25=PF454=M1202
PF35=PF1218=M1302
AC delco has a webpage where you type in a competetors part number and it shows you what the AC delco number is.

I used to really like AC delco oil filters, but am not quite so sure of them anymore. I've read some reviews online including a guy who cut open all kinds of different filters. Based on that, and what I have used on my 8.1 I'm going to run a Mobile 1 filter.
Hope this helps someone.
