I want to replace the A.C. vents in my 1986 C10 A.C. truck. I am looking at just changing the "registers" only? Can the A.C. vent "registers" be swapped out without having to change the assembly (the black assy. the vents sit in that fits/Screws behind the Dash)? LMC sells the "vents" and the housing separately. i would rather not have to disconnect the hoses to each vent if I don't have to...

thanks!!

You'll have to disconnect the hoses to do so, the registers install from the backside

Let me know if that replacing them keeps them from being all loosey goosey.
