I'm in need of a driveline for an 87 V10 longbed. I haven't found one yet, but have found a couple for Suburbans. Weren't the long beds and Sububurbans the same wheelbase? If so, would the driveline be interchangeable?

What are you actually needing? A drive shaft? An engine, transmission and rearend?

I ordered a rebuilt transmission and transfer case. Now I just need the driveline. Lost all 3 in the fiasco.

So you need a driveshaft, just the rear one? Or both? Use drive shaft as your search criteria not drive line. I think you'll have better luck. I believe there is a couple inches difference between burb and pickup on wheel base. Doubt it's a swap. Also unsure if carrier bearing is in the same location.

I was concentrating on the question of burb to pickup interchange, not concentrating on what else may fit your vehicle. Didn't occur to me until later, the reason you are having a problem is tge V series pickup was 1 year only. Try looking for 82-86 k10. I stumbled across these guys all they do is driveshafts. There's also Dennys driveshafts but I think when you start using drive shaft instead of drive line and including k series, you'll find a driveshaft in a few minutes. Driveline to me has always meant any part from the flex plate to the wheel hubs. Where as drive shaft has always meant the propeller shaft from the transmission or transfers case to the differential.

The Suburban drive shaft is a couple inches shorter than that of a longbed pickup, with all else being equal (trans, t-case, rear axle).

Wheel base is the same?

I think burb is 2" shorter
I found a new one and ordered it. Just searching for drive shaft instead of driveline solved it. Thank you
