When I had my '84 stepside, I was thrilled to use the wiring diagrams in my shop manual to fix the problem I had with my TCC lock up function. It ended up being a problem with the brake pedal switch.

So my '87 K20 happens to have the same issue, the TCC doesn't function. But I pull out my freshly purchased '87 Service manual and realize there are no wiring diagrams.

What happened? Where are the wiring schematics?

They may have put them in an ETM. I know a lot of the newer vehicles now have en electrical troubleshooting manual to supplement the regular service manual. I think it got to a point where there were more electronic things than mechanical in the vehicles, so they put it all in a separate book.

Yep, in the 80's GM started putting out the Electrical Supplement manuals. But it didn't apply to all car/truck lines, some still had the wiring diagrams in the main book.

And your K20 with TH400 doesn't have a TC lockup function :)
