I recently purchased a 87 3/4 ton 4x4 3speed with granny low. I bought it with out hearing it run, however i trust the guy i bought it from very well. It has a rebuilt engine in it. The no start was caused by a bad sending unit. I took the passenger side sending unit and hooked it up in the drivers side. The passenger side tank leaksout of the front corner. But thats another time. After a couple times priming it it started. I let it run for about 10 minutes. Truck sounds wonderful. Not even a lifter tick. After i shut the truck off i forgot to pull the key and the battery died. When the new sending unit came in i switched the old pump over to the new sending unit. Installed it and nothing. I even put the passenger side sending unit in and nothing. Im kinda stumped about it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
