I there a front or back to the trans mount on an 85 C109 2WD 700r4?

im confused at what you are asking. there should be a mount that it sits on a cross member, a brace to bellhousing, and otherwise there would be engine mounts

Are you talking about the rubber mount on the cross member that supports the tailshaft?And are you asking if they are symmetrical, as in can they be installed 180 degrees rotated.? I am 99 percent sure they are symmetrical.AWhats going on?

The rubber trans mount. The mount is oblong on one side and curved on the other. I have it figured out and installed.
