Cut the belt or remove the pully. Might be LH thread. Is that an aftermarket conversion?

Never seen a spring loaded tensioner on a v belt. Ever.
Props for the ingenuity to whomever did that. Presume it works well?

Are you saying you moved it back in a slotted hole like a typical v belt tension? Or did you actually rotate the tensioner pulley against the spring like a typical spring loaded tensioner?

I bet it’s a PITA checking / adding power steering fluid.

I don't even see a spring the tensioner looks like it's just threaded in using adjustable wrench and pry bar to move it

Hello all so I've concluded that's an aftermarket ac conversion. I could not get the belt off in any way other than cutting it.Drove it to parts store shutt off started back up 2mins away car wash.truck started and lost fuel pressure.20 mins later truck started lost fuel pressure, towed it home.has a Carter electric fuel pump on frame rail.swapped it out,it hesitated then started and ran like poorly with foot on gas and quit.cranks but won't start now. I'm a painter not a mechanic so take it easy.

Here's how my Sanden compressor is set up. I got the bracket from Vintage Air. It uses the power steering pump as the tensioner.
