I've inherited a '82 3+3 dually that's got the 454, dana 60 front, auto, 205, and I believe 4.10 gears......but not sure of that. It's just rusty enough to not be a good candidate to put back on the road. Now.....I've got a '73 C20 Cheyenne Super 454 that I've wanted to change over to a 4x4. Don't really need the 60, a 44 front would do my fine. I do want to keep with the automatic. I've got a frame already with the driveshafts. My question is......what's the drivetrain worth on the dually, and should I just sell that and search for what I need. The only real parts that would directly benefit me is the 205 and turbo 400. I've got a standing offer.....low ball...of $500 for the dually. That's a joke imo, but I'd like a realistic value on the dually, so I can juggle the numbers.
